Are you part of a local community group needing funds for a project?
Applications are now open for 2017-18 Community Chest grants.
What’s great about this program is it helps drive community-based projects that have a lasting legacy and benefit us all.
More than $200,000 has been returned to the community since the program's inception.
It’s all about building a brighter future and recognising the tapestry of community groups that make a real difference to the Hastings way of life.
The grants provide anywhere from $500 to $2000 for each eligible project and past recipients hail from a wide cross section of the community, from sports clubs and schools to special interest groups and volunteer organisations.
IGA customers play a pivotal role in this program, with funds from specially-marked ‘Community Chest’ products pooled to provide the grants.
Every time you purchase one of these specially-marked products you can feel good about giving back to the community too.
